How does Algecal-DX Tablet work?

Algecal-DX Tablet consists of Calcium (mineral) and Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3). Calcium is a mineral that is used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients to maintain bone formation and maintenance. Cholecalciferol helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and mineralization of bone.

Interaction

When hypercalcemia occurs, discontinuation of the drug is usually sufficient to normalize serum calcium levels. Patients with sarcoidosis, kidney or heart disease, and those receiving cardiac glycoside therapy should use calcium with caution. Contraindications

Hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism, bone metastasis, severe kidney failure, severe hypercalciuria, kidney stones caused by hypersensitivity to any ingredient, vitamin D3 overdose.

Algecal-DX Tablet can be given to pregnant and breastfeeding mothers on the advice of a doctor.

Precautions & Warnings

• In the presence of mild hypercalciuria, careful monitoring and dose reduction may be required. In the case of mild to moderate renal insufficiency and long-term use, plasma and serum calcium levels You should not take Algecal-DX Tablet if you are allergic to any of the components of this supplement.
• You are suffering from tissue calcification (deposit of calcium in body tissues).
• You are suffering from malabsorption or have high levels of cholesterol.
• You are taking any other product containing vitamin D or calcium.
• You have problems with your heart, kidney, or liver.
• You have any existing medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer, or any other diseases.
